Alpha (ZOOM)

7:00pm Sep 22 - 9:00pm Nov 24
Zoom

Alpha is a series of interactive sessions that Good Samaritan offers as both an outreach and a practical introduction to the Christian faith. It’s a place where you have an opportunity to explore the meaning of life and the teachings of Jesus in a relaxed, friendly setting. No question about life or God is seen as too simple or too hostile. Everyone is welcome. There is no charge to attend Alpha.

Who is Alpha For?

Alpha is for anyone.  People attend Alpha from all backgrounds, religions and viewpoints.  They come to investigate questions about the existence of God, the purpose of life, what happens after death, the teaching of Jesus and more. Many guests have never been to church; others may have attended church occasionally but feel they have never really understood the basics of the Christian faith.  Alpha teaches the basic biblical teaching on which all Christians agree.

Alpha is international, run in 169 countries around the world with printed material available in 83 languages. All major Christian denominations run Alpha.

Due to the uncertainties of in-person gatherings during the coronavirus pandemic, we will meet online via Zoom. We will provide instructions and personal assistance for you to use Zoom.

The sessions will run on Tuesday evenings from 7:00 – 8:15 for 10 weeks from September 15 to November 17.
