Christie Purifoy Reading
Christie Purifoy is a writer and gardener and lives with her husband and four children at Maplehurst, an old red brick farmhouse in southern Chester County. She and her family have attended Good Sam since moving to Pennsylvania five years ago.
Christie is the author of Roots and Sky: A Journey Home in Four Seasons, a book of personal essays and spiritual reflections published by Revell in 2016. She is currently at work on a book of memoir and nature writing tentatively titled Placemaker and forthcoming from Zondervan.
Christie earned a PhD in English Literature at the University of Chicago before trading the classroom for a writing desk, a garden, and a few dozen chickens and ducks.
