St James School Presentation

10:30-11:15am Jun 3
Office Meeting Space

St. James School is a middle school in the Allegheny West section of North Philadelphia, and the only Episcopal School within the city limits of Philadelphia. St. James School opened its doors to its first students in 2011. Neighborhood students in grades 5-8 attend the tuition-free school. While public schools in the area suffer from overcrowding, low funding, lack of resources, plus daily fights and bullying, the students at St. James School thrive in an environment of small classrooms, dedicated staff and a transformational education. It is a neighborhood school that invests in not only the students while in attendance, but also in their future. St. James faculty and staff are committed to walking alongside graduates through high school and beyond, providing counselling, tutoring and mentoring.
