Baby Bottle Campaign Raises Over $700 to Support Amnion

For many years, Good Samaritan has supported Amnion through prayers, designated ministry support, and special campaigns. A popular campaign is the Baby Bottle campaign between Mother’s Day and Father’s Day. Parishioners pick up baby bottles, fill them with cash, and return them on Father’s Day. This year, our church’s baby bottle campaign raised $709.20 for Amnion ministries. Their total campaign through churches in the area raised more than $16,000! This generosity helps keep all their services free, providing encouragement and hope for girls and women impacted by unplanned pregnancies.

Through these contributions, Amnion will be able to:

  • Speak into the life of local students about their worth, encouraging health choices,
  • Provide hope and healing for suffering men and women who have undergone abortions,
  • Offer medical services of ultrasound and pregnancy testing,
  • Provide counseling and other services to women and families facing unplanned pregnancies.

Amnion is a local agency, located in Drexel Hill, and since 1983 has served women, men, and families in Delaware, Chester, Philadelphia, and Montgomery Counties. Learn more about the programs, their spiritual underpinnings, and more at their website.
