College Ministry at Good Sam
For the past several years the CCO Jubilee conference has been a highlight in the life of College Ministry at the Church of the Good Samaritan.
The lively and active college student community at Good Samaritan has many opportunities to grow in their relationship with Christ and learn to love our neighbors near and far in deep ways. The Jubilee Conference is consistently a catalyst for these opportunities.
Here are some words from just a few of the students who participated in the conference.
“One of the things that I most appreciated about attending Jubilee was getting to see all of the things that I am learning in school come together in light of the Biblical narrative. I really appreciated the chance to reflect on all of the main sessions with Kylie and Ben as they have walked with us throughout this experience and college life in general. - Anna
“Jubilee was an amazing experience, as always. The worship brought me to a place of receiving God’s grace and praising His holy name.” - Justin
“Jubilee brought of lot interesting thoughts to my mind. I especially appreciated the time to sit in the fallenness of the world. Sitting and feeling the weight of hurt of the world reminded me of the practice of Advent, sitting amongst hope and lament. Hearing about God’s redeeming sacrifice of Christ, after recognizing this hurt, was like rediscovering grace all over again.” - Giana
“Overall, this weekend blessed me with challenging conversation and enriching messages from a variety of speakers. The fellowship, love, and community I experienced was life changing.” - Karissa
