Faith and Service - Joan's Story
Faith and Service is a series of short conversations following the stories of people who give their time to serve in various ministries at Good Samaritan. Our final conversation is with Joan Lodge who is part of the leadership of the Food Closet.
On December 1st we have our combined service at 10:30am. In the service we have an opportunity to bring our pledge cards forward together. It's a powerful symbol of the way in which we share the financial responsibility of running Good Samaritan together - each according to our means. As we think about our giving this year, we're wanting to set that in the context of the generous use of the whole of our lives. Our giving is of time, talent and treasure. We hope these stories will inspire and encourage you.
