Update from KSCF

Good Samaritan has long supported the ministry of the Kenyan Students Christian Fellowship (KSCF) and more specifically The Maasai Associates Team (MAT). Since 1957, KSCF has provided Christian leadership in Kenya. Its mission is “To lead students in secondary schools and colleges in Kenya to come to a personal knowledge of Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, mature in Him and equip them for effective service, and mobilize and empower Christian workers for effective service among the students.”

A video from a recent convention tells more about KSCF.

Recently, the MAT team sent a report covering activities for the first term – As KSCF programs work with school students, they follow the same term schedule, which is a trimester academic year. Some highlights for the 2019 first term included a Leaders Training Day, attended by 201 student leaders from 11 schools; providing Missions to Schools with preaching, teaching, and rallies; and an Associates Training Forum held alongside the student leaders’ training event. For details on all their activities, see their full report.

The team also appreciates our church’s support. They write:

The KSCF Maasai Associates Team acknowledges, with immense gratitude, the continued financial support of the Good Samaritan Church in the United States of America. The support has gone a long way towards meeting some of our obligations as a team. We also wish to thank all the associates and local churches that have continued to support the work of the team in schools.
