Chris Micklewright

Chris and his wife Heather are the parents of three young boys (ranging in age from five years to four months). He met his wife, Heather, when they were both students at Eastern University and have been each other's best friend ever since. They will celebrate 11 years of marriage in May of 2017. Chris and Heather's sons are Corin, Elias, and Desmond, and they are joyful bundles of compressed energy who make sure their lives never have a dull moment. The Micklewrights have lived in Phoenixville for close to eight years. Professionally, Chris is an assistant professor of mathematics at Eastern. He did his graduate work at Villanova University and Bryn Mawr College, and it was his long term dream to end up back at Eastern. Heather and Chris have a deep love for the mission and values of the school, and he is thrilled to be a part of the community there. Chris says "I am an academic at heart, and I enjoy discussing almost any topic, though my strongest interests are in theology and mathematics."
