Glen Shorley

My family consists of my wife Virginia, step-children Karen and Dan and three grandchildren.
I've been retired since 2011. Upon leaving Vanguard and having a conversation with Arch Bishop Henry Orombi of Uganda, I began the ministry of Cave Bird Coffee and Cave Bird Cup of Life. Purchasing coffee beans from farms in Uganda and other areas of the world supports sustainable farming and provides support for clean water wells in Uganda. I also help out on occasion with the Chester County Food Bank in Honey Brook, Pa. I am a cradle Episcopalian, attending St John’s Norristown, PA and St Paul’s Oaks, PA before Ginny and I joined Good Samaritan  in 1983. Over the years I have helped out in Youth Group, presented at the Life in the Spirit seminars, was a member of the Good Samaritan Prison Team Ministry, volunteered at Fair Days, and am presently a reader of Prayers of the People and serve as a Chalice Bearer.
