Carolyn joined the staff at the Church of the Good Samaritan in 2011. For the first six years of her ministry here she worked with Family Ministries, and was chaplain to the Day School. As of October 1, 2017 she moved from working part-time to full time, and took on responsibilities for pastoral care, prayer, liturgy and worship. She is the contact for any pastoral care, or prayer needs, as well as being the clergy contact for baptisms, funerals, and weddings.
Carolyn earned her MDiv at Virginia Theological Seminary. She has served in a number of Episcopal churches in Colorado and in the greater Philadelphia area. She was also associate pastor at a Lutheran Church in Norristown, PA. Currently Carolyn is an on-call chaplain at Paoli Hospital, providing spiritual care to emergency, trauma and hospitalized patients as well as the hospital staff.
Outside of her church involvement she is an assistant scoutmaster in the Boy Scouts of America, enjoys reading, travel, walking, cooking, and being a wife to David, and mother to Seth.
