Carolyn joined the staff at the Church of the Good Samaritan in 2011. Her ministry focus has been in the area of children and family ministries. She is also active in pastoral care, regular preaching and celebrating, and is active in the Church of the Good Samaritan Day School. With a mother who played the organ, and a father who sang in the choir at their Episcopal Church in Keokuk, Iowa Carolyn’s youth included many church activities, which she very much enjoyed. Carolyn earned her MDiv at Virginia Theological Seminary. She has served in a number of churches in Colorado, and in the greater Philadelphia area. Currently she is serving as the Brandywine Deanery clergy representative to the Diocesan Council, and on the Diocesan Finance Committee. Outside of her church involvement she enjoys crafting, reading, travel, walking, cooking, and being a wife to David, and mother to Seth.
