College Age: Open Table
Thursday Evenings (September-May)
Kicking off the spring semester on January 26th 2022 at 7:30pm the college ministry meets weekly for "Open Table" at the church. All those of college age are welcome whether enrolled in a university or not.
Open Table is an open format space, it means there will be (an):
- Open Seat
- Open Conversation
- Open to the Presence of God
When we gather, there might be games, food, or just fellowship. We often find ourselves having conversations about the intersection of life and spirituality. Bring your questions and your doubts. Weather permitting you will find us outdoors at "The Commons," a meeting area in our parking lot off Cedar Hollow Rd. or inside the building at the top of the stairs inside the main entrance (Room 223/"Fishbowl"). For more information check out the link to our Instagram or see our contact info above. We hope you will join us this semester!
Church
Sunday Morning
Sunday morning church is our largest gathering of college students throughout the week. Good Sam has a variety of services that you can attend including Rite I at 7:30, Rite II at 9:00, and New Chapel at 11:00 as well as many opportunities to serve within the life of church. We encourage students to try out a variety of different worship styles.
College ministry at the Church of the Good Samaritan is made possible through a partnership with the Coalition for Christian Outreach. The Coalition for Christian Outreach (CCO) partners with churches and organization with the goal of transforming college students to transform the world. As CCO staff, Dan and Katie have an intentional presence at Eastern University and West Chester University, although Good Sam is the home of college students from all kinds of different colleges and universities.
Young Adults
Tuesday Nights
Every week at 7:30pm the young adult (post college) group meets at the "Good Sam Commons," weather permitting, or inside the Church. This is a space for you to spend time in fellowship with your peers. Often conversations turn to scripture and a discussion on a variety of topics centered around the intersection of life and spirituality.
