Lessons & Carols

Even as we prepare for the celebration of the coming of Christ we look forward to His return.  The Advent season emphasizes both the first and second comings of Christ with the joy that His first coming brings us and awe at the judgement His second coming will bring.

On Sunday, December 18th our 9:00 service will be a service of Lessons and Carols.  The lessons will include both the prophecies and the fulfillment of God’s promises made throughout history.  Music will include much loved Advent and Christmas hymns as well as anthems.

As is the tradition at this type of celebration, there will be no Communion offered at this service.  There will be Communion offered at the 7:30 and 11:00 services.  Communion is also offered every Tuesday morning in the Chapel at 8:30am.
