Ninos con Valor
Niños con Valor, based in Cochabamba, Bolivia, was launched in 2005 to respond to the low value placed on children in Bolivian society. Their principal objective is to respond to the gaps in the childcare system. Through their work, Niños has created a model of quality childcare, designed to integrate all children regardless of their histories or special medical/developmental needs. They operate in a discrimination free environment, where each child will learn of God’s love for them, and develop a heart to help those less fortunate than themselves. https://ninosconvalor.org/
Water Mission is a nonprofit, Christian engineering organization based in North Charleston, South Carolina that designs, builds and implements safe water, sanitation and hygiene solutions for people in developing countries and disaster areas. The ministry formally began in 2001 by Water Mission's founders Molly and George Greene after they were spurred to action witnessing the devastation in Honduras caused by Hurricane Mitch in 1998. They soon realized that the absence of clean water was a concern not only as a result of events like hurricanes, but was the general condition in many developing countries around the world. Today, in addition to quick response to supply water after natural disasters, they also provide sanitation services and have built and set up 2,800 safe water units in developing countries. https://watermission.org/

Ron Irene in Paraguay
Good Samaritan has had a long relationship with Ron Irene, an Anglican priest serving in Paraguay. Along with Ron's wife Nicky, the Irenes address not only the spiritual needs of Christians in and around Asunción, Paraguay, but also through outreach to the many people in need. In his role as priest, Ron is sole pastor for both the Anglican Cathedral (Catedral Anglicana San Andrés) and Christ The Saviour Anglican Church (Iglesia Anglicana Cristo Salvador), as well as serving as the main chaplain of the Anglican school in Asunción, Saint Andrews. A major goal of Ron's as priest is to raise up local parishioners to become not only leaders in the church but also to encourage them to pursue roles in the clergy. Both Ron and Nicky work separately and as a team to provide personal and premarital counseling as well as conduct wedding ceremonies.
Rooted in Jesus
Rooted in Jesus is a group course in Christian discipleship written for use in Africa. It is the only material of its kind written especially for the use of ordinary African Christians, rather than translated from material developed for the West – where people face different problems and challenges in their Christian lives. Since its beginning in 2002, Rooted in Jesus has been adopted by over 90 dioceses and denominations in 17 African countries. In 2010, they developed a companion Rooted in Jesus Junior program for use in Sunday Schools, and today is in wide use. Rooted in Jesus is published and supported by The Mathetes Trust, a registered charity in the United Kingdom. In addition to its printed Rooted in Jesus materials, the ministry conducts conferences and seminars for African clergy to provide materials and programs for them to help beginning Christians move from baptism to discipleship in Christ. http://www.rootedinjesus.net/
The Diocese of Bolivia
In addition to specific ministries in Bolivia, such as presently Ninos con Valor and recently pastor Tammy Firestone a SAMS missionary and rector of La Trinidad Anglican Church in Cochabamba, Good Samaritan also supports the work of the entire diocese of Bolivia. Our church has had a long relationship with the bishop Rt Rev Raphael Samuel and supports various projects and programs he initiates and oversees. With all the social unrest in Bolivia in recent years, the bishop's work has been very challenging.
