The mission of the Good Samaritan Day School is to provide developmentally appropriate learning experiences for each child in a loving and nurturing Christian environment. Your child is a unique individual.

Our staff of over 40 teachers and classroom assistants is committed to the academic, social, and spiritual development of each child. As a state licensed private academic preschool and kindergarten we offer a developmentally appropriate program focusing on the growth of the whole child. The Day School is an environment where children engage in activities that challenge them to learn, grow, and play.

Founded in 1955, we continue to maintain an atmosphere of Christian love, warmth, and understanding. Children attend chapel each week where they learn all about God’s abundant love through stories and Bible teachings. They sing songs about Jesus and pray together. The Day School is a place where racial, cultural, and socio-economic diversity is valued.

During your visit, the Director will share with you all the features of a typical school day including our classrooms, playgrounds, gym areas, music room, library, our Chapel, and answer any questions that you have. Our school day runs from 9 am until 12 pm. We would love to meet you and your child. We encourage you to visit while school is in session to get a true sense of who we are.

About The Church of the Good Samaritan

Good Samaritan Day School is a ministry of The Church of the Good Samaritan. This foundation shapes our values as a school and community. We believe that every child is created in God's image and is infinitely valuable. Our role as educators, and as a church, is to partner with parents in helping nurture each child as an image bearer of God. While academics are important, growth in wisdom and character are paramount. We are critically engaged in the process of helping each child grow into their potential as a child of God and stewards of our planet.

If you are not already part of a worshiping community, we invite you to explore our wider church family and visit on a Sunday.
