Pastoral Care
The Pastoral Care Team is composed of the parish nurse, the clergy, and volunteers who minister to the physical, social, emotional, and spiritual needs of our community in the following ways:
- Meals: We coordinate meal assistance for those who need it.
- Pastoral Visits: We coordinate visits from the parish nurse and the clergy.
- Eucharistic Visits: Lay volunteers are trained and certified to bring Holy Communion to those who are unable to attend Good Sam’s worship services.
- Medical Equipment: We can provide gently used medical equipment on loan.
- Caring Callers: Lay volunteers make friendly visits to homebound individuals and check in with them over the phone.
