Jeannie Knowlton

Pre-K Assistant

Horses and teaching riding and horsemanship has been my lifelong profession. I've competed and taught nationally and internationally through the United States Pony Clubs and the Stoneleigh Burnham School in Massachusetts, served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Valley Forge, and most recently as the Executive Director and lead instructor at Hope Springs Equestrian Therapy for over 20 years. Watching my students attempt and master new skills and grow in confidence as they realize their abilities, whether on the back of a horse or in the classroom, brings me such joy and fulfillment. I am thrilled to be working with your children as an aide in a Pre-K class. When not at school, I can be found at the barn caring for my horses—Tigger Too, Marshall, Paddington, and Monte—or painting custom needlepoint canvases. I live in Valley Forge with my husband and dogs LibbyLu and Zoey, and my cat Shadow.
