Larry McGill

Larry is a native of North Carolina, who has been living on the Main Line since 2017. What brought a guy from rural NC to the Philly suburbs? A career move. Larry is part of the stable of producers responsible for writing and editing _NBC 10 News Today_, the early morning newscast on NBC 10 Philadelphia. Before joining the team at NBC 10, he was a producer at WRAL News in Raleigh, recognized as a trailblazer in the local news industry and one of the best local television stations in the nation.

Larry’s interest in photography began as a function of his career. The news field is in constant need of “Swiss Army Knife” type journalists… people who can do it all, from writing, to shooting content, to editing. He feels most creative when he can put those talents to use for Good Sam and the Kingdom of God.

When Larry isn’t running around the church with camera equipment, you’ll find him chasing his wife and two little girls (sometimes he’s chasing them with the camera). You might also find him in the kitchen or grilling on his patio. In the McGill home, they love God… barbeque is a noun for food, not a verb… and they cheer for the UNC Tar Heels.
