Associate (part time), Pastoral Care, Daughters of the King, Women’s Ministry
Marcia has ministered in four parishes: St. John Episcopal Church, Carlisle, PA, as Associate Rector for Children’s Ministries, Mission and Pastoral Care; The Cathedral Church of the Advent, Birmingham, AL, as Canon Missioner and Day School Chaplain; All Saints Episcopal Church, Chevy Chase, MD, as Senior Associate of Pastoral Care, and Outreach/Mission; and St. Mark Episcopal Church, Honey Brook, PA, as Priest in Charge/Rector.
Her education includes a nursing degree, Hood College (BA), Lutheran Seminary at Gettysburg (MDiv), and Anglican Studies at Virginia Theology Seminary.
Marcia’s nursing background led to hospice work and to a conviction that health and wellness truly are an integration of body, mind, and spirit. Norm’s commitment to medical research in the military brought Marcia to a leper colony, and the Episcopal orphanage in Panama, and to the School for the Blind in Thailand.
Marcia and her husband Norman live in Elverson, PA, and have two married daughters, and five grandchildren.
“Whether at home or abroad, developing relationships are key to reaching out with the awesome grace and love of God. The opportunity to be both retired and still active with believers to build God’s Church is my joy and privilege.”
