We are delighted to welcome Malcolm Guite to Good Samaritan! Dr Guite is an English poet, Anglican priest, and former chaplain at Cambridge University. He writes at the intersection of faith and the arts, drawing inspiration from CS Lewis, JRR Tolkien, and the great English and Anglican poets. The author of Sounding the Seasons, David’s Crown, and many other works, he is well known for his sonnets.
In this Adult Christian Formation / Ashton Seminar class, Writer-in-Residence Dr Christie Purifoy has a conversation with poet and priest Malcolm Guite exploring how faith and imagination help us “see the unseen.” Drawing on Guite’s poetry, we are invited to glimpse how art, beauty, and the life of faith can illuminate the dark places with Christ’s reflected light.
