Anticipating St Michael and All Angels on September 29 when Fr Ellsworth will preach on Revelation 12 and “war in heaven” or spiritual warfare, for this class we’ll study the first All Angels reading from Genesis 28. 10 – 22, where Jacob wrestles with the angel. Let’s all ask ourselves how, when we wake up in the morning, we can do what Jacob did, respond visibly to an invisible God.
